Kim was born and raised in AZ where she quickly developed an appreciation for sunscreen as to not get burnt to a crisp. She likes long walks on the beach and playing 'Go Fish' with people much younger so she will mostly always win. She thought that to find true happiness and fulfillment she needed to travel the world in a VW bus but what she really needed was a Jonathan. Also, she realizes now that the logistics of getting a VW bus across the ocean are difficult.
Born on February 29, Jonathan made his parents wait a whole 4½ years between children just because he wanted to have a really cool birthday. He's patient about those sorts of silly things, and can be quite the tease. Besides Kimmy, his great love in the world is computers & tech stuff, and he's just hoping that Kim will remain patient with his need to tinker and play with gadgets. He's promised to only use his powers for good and not evil, so hopefully that'll help his case.
Kim & Jonathan became friends, long before their first date, after meeting at church, and became good friends around the time they had to push a car across the Mexican border (sadly not as exciting as it sounds). A few months later they went on their first date, but it was the Simpson's that really brought them together as Jonathan felt the need to help Kim overcome her deficient homeschool education by introducing her to that wonderfully irreverent cartoon. Kim liked that Jonathan didnt try to win her over with poetry or techno mix CD's and Jonathan liked that Kim could say Supercalifrgilisticexpialidocious backwards and they decided to become exclusive. After months of dating, internet stalking, compiling several pro's and con's lists, and enduring the awkwardness of meeting each other's families, they still liked each other. Kim was especially well behaved when she met Jonathan's family so he decided to look for a ring. After a couple (long) months of waiting for the custom designed ring, it was finally ready, and it was perfect. On October 18th, Jonathan and Kim rode bikes to get some frozen yogurt, then cut through a park where he popped the question.
And after thinking about it for about 0.7 seconds, she said yes.
